Hey everyone ! Just wanted to let you know I am in the process of adding a picture page for each puppy but things got a bit hectic tonight as we had a flood. Ughhh ... always something. Anyhow I will finish those not done tomorrow. Some have pictures and some have nothing yet but I will get them ... thanks for stopping by !
Tomorrow November 1st we will welcome babies from BabyBear x Ares. We are very excited and can’t sleep tonight. Tomorrow will be a long and stressful day but exciting too. Those who have contacted us , I will try to get back to you before the new babies arrive. Until then .. please keep momma and her unborn babies in your prayers. C-section is tomorrow afternoon. We will post on our Facebook page tomorrow afternoon ;)
A love so strong between my Baby Dude and myself. Every day I wonder if today is our last. Every night I am afraid it’s our last goodnight together. He doesn’t go outside anymore. He can not walk much at all now. I carry him and pick him up when he needs to move or wants to sit by me. I keep rugs down so when he is able to get on his feet .. it helps to keep his feet in place as he has maybe 20% usage/ control over his rear end. Anyone who wonders why TEST FOR DM ???? Degenerative Myopathy This is WHY ! The onset is younger in bulldogs mainly because of their life span being shorter then say a German Shepard. I can honestly say NONE of my dogs carry DM. I never want another Bulldog or any breed suffer this long slow loss of control of their legs .. loss of ability to control their urine and poop. For me .. It’s ok to clean up after my baby. He can’t get out of his own way. He leaks urine non stop, but again it’s not his fault. You can see the look of him feeling ashamed .. I tell him every time “It’s ok Baby Dude , mommy clean it up” We have stock in paper towels and a mop always ready. He looks pretty good in this picture , but he is looking really rough. I would do this forever if it meant he could stay forever with me. Baby Dude will be 9 years old November 24th. I am hoping and trying so hard to keep him in good spirits and celebrate his birthday together. I don’t know what I will do when the day comes and he leaves me. It hurts so bad to even say that inside my head to type this out. I cry a lot to myself and every night before I fall sleep. He is my world. My everything. I don’t want him to leave me. He has been the constant in my life, through so much together. He always stuck by my side .. I always knew he was there. No matter how bad things were at that time in life ... I knew he was there always. Please keep my Baby Dude (aka Elvis) in your prayers. This boy is my entire world. He is my everything. Please keep him in your prayers.

Milkshake and Sterling breeding did not take this time around soooooo we will repeat again in 5 months +/- This breeding ... we have several planned breedings taking place before the year is out. Here is just a preview of one of them !!! 💜🖤💜🖤 I Am A Breeder! My Home smells like puppies! Yes they can be stinky! when the puppies leave for their forever homes the smell leaves till we are blessed with the next litter. This does not mean we are dirty we Clean more often an with tons more disinfectants and cleaners than any average home! My food receipts for a family of 4 and my dog food bills match My water bill has doubled My electric has doubled It is I, a breeder, who when my fridge quit, saved the dog meds and let the food go bad. My feet find the way to the kennel before I have even grabbed a cup of coffee in the morning and the kennel is my last stop before bed. Many days there is no lunch for me. While my friends are on a cruise to the Bahamas and my family meets for Christmas I am home delivering puppies All plans are made around heat dates, whelp dates and vet dates. I shower and 10 minutes later my kids say I smell like a dog My clothes are all stained with fecal matter, urine, afterbirth or bleach I have to remember to clean my shoes before going out. Most of my friends breed dogs - who else can you call at 3 am for support? Who else has the experience I sometimes need, the med I sometimes need, or just an uplifting word I sometimes need ? Who else would understand how it feels to have invested hours and hours and hours in a weak puppy to lose it? Or the joy in investing hours in one that lives? I have slept on the floor beside a litter until the crucial first 2 weeks have passed. I have bottle fed a litter of 9... feeding every 2 hours and it taking 90 minutes to do, for weeks at a time. I have learned to be proficient at micro chipping, vaccinations, sub q fluids, bottle feeding and tube feeding. my vet knows me I am a breeder It is to me that 63 days takes on new meaning....still excited by every new life It is I who delivers all my pups, towels and heat lamps on ready happiness and sadness sometimes intermingled Even though it increases my work load, I look forward to the 10 day stage when eyes open, and puppies begin to emerge from the helplessness of newborns. Puppy breath, a first bath, and a heart of exploration. I am not uneducated, unemployable, illiterate or lazy as some Animal Rights folks would imply of breeders. I am a conscientious lover of animals and I have found my niche. I am a breeder. I am not raking in money while sitting on my butt. Every penny I make I earn through blood, sweat and tears. My greatest joy is a healthy puppy and a wonderful home. The cards of thanks and the pictures of my puppy with its new family is the fringe benefits of my efforts. I am an animal lover, nurse, midwife, heavy laborer, customer service representative, and marketer. When you are doing it right, it takes 3 litters a year to break even and that's if you have minimal vet bills! AND I am a breeder **Shared from another Breeder** Author unknown.
I am usually always the one taking the pictures .. as I was doing here. But I had a good friend come for a visit and took some pictures of me with some of the kids as I was taking pictures of them when they were not on me. It’s nice to see a picture of me with my babies. Now hopefully to get some more while my friend is here so I will have them. This is Twinky and sister Cupcake. They are sisters out of BabyBear x Gamera breeding that we kept back.
** well I was hoping the live pictures would be live here but nope ! Did you know:
Bulldog’s do not breed naturally? You pay for semen unless you have an in house stud and we know we get what we pay for! The progesterone testing must be done to to determine timing for ovulation for optimal insemenation times and date. 1-5 times to determine this at up to $130 a pop. Most breeders confirm via ultrasound and / or x-ray at a significant cost. That bulldog whelpers are up 24/7 for the first three weeks. Bulldogs must have c sections which vary in cost. Prices are $600 and can be as high as $3500 for emergency/un-scheduled. Bulldog moms are not left alone with their babies unless supervised as they can inadvertently sit on them. Pups are supported with expensive equipment such as an incubator, suction devices, progesterone machines and ultrasound machines. Moms go home on antibiotics and pain meds and often puppies are sent home with antibiotics. Your breeder may have to administer IV fluids colostrum and may have to bottle feed or supplement through tube or sponge feeding. They may provide nebulizer treatments for respiratory issues. Your breeder does not allow visitors because litters have been killed... visitors can bring parvovirus into the house which could wipe out a litter. Your breeder loves and takes care of your puppy and wants a home for them that is financially secure as they want their bulldogs to receive all the care they need. Thus all the questions. Did you know that for every person that buys a bulldog your breeder has touched base with 20 other folks who have no intention or means to buy a puppy. Did you know your breeder does endless loads of laundry a day ! Cleans puppy areas etc to keep your puppy healthy Did you know your breeder has researched the breed and spent hours days months years trying to give you the perfect puppy? This includes evaluating vets, studs etc. Did you know your breeder hand delivers many puppies or works with a puppy nanny or ground shipper to get your puppy to you? Did you know you breeder considers no question dumb and is available for a life time of support? Did you know this is not a get rich quick scheme ! Puppies die and we mourn the loss of every one❣️ Your breeder is offended when you ask for a a puppy for $1000! And should be! Too a few videos this morning while the puppies were outside playing. We have puppies available !! Email text or call ! New Puppies !!
